     The Water Beckons is Officially Launched!!
Clad in a Mermaid dress, I presented my new book, The Water Beckons at Le Chalet Basque, July 22nd.  I am very thankful that so many of you turned out to support me! I apologize to those who could not fit into the dining room. Standing Room Only is not so great for the attendees, but is a huge compliment to the speaker, and I thank you all.
For those who could not attend, or were not able to hear, you may read my speech. My basic words are all there, but missing are the personal touches, the ad-libbing and good natured jostling from the audience. You had to be there!!
