Teammate Doug filmed two of my races at Short Course Meters Championships, Walnut Creek, CA, October 7-9, 2022.
On the left, 50-Meter Backstroke, red cap, second from top, and on the right, 100-Meter Freestyle, third from top. Top lane of the Freestyle is teammate Josie V, the Pearl Lady. Go Mudsharks!
I don't look very fast, but I swam my best, and placed second in both events. Yeah! Red ribbons! Blue for first is always nice, but red is a very pretty color.
